Welcome to Professional MentorSHPE!

  


 This track is designed for our SHPE Professional Members who are looking to connect with their peers as they work on their individual professional development goals. 

Here are the key points of this program: 
 

  • Facilitates 3-month long one-on-one connections of STEM professionals.

  • Participants can choose to engage in either the mentee or mentor role, or both! 

  •  Mentees can choose their own mentor connection and begin and end connections to fit their own schedule and the schedule of the mentor they connect with. Typically the connection lasts 3-months but the timeline can be adjusted by the participants as needed. 

  • As mentees look for a mentor, they can choose a SHPEtina and/or someone at the same or different career level.

  • We will offer monthly networking opportunities  for participants to engage in conversations of mentoring best practices and expanded networking beyond their mentor connections.
