GRADS MentorSHPE Groups

The GRADS MentorSHPE Groups focus on the need for our GRaduate & Advanced Degree Students to develop skills that can help them survive and thrive in graduate school and beyond. These mentorship groups will provide our GRADS with a safe space where they can discuss professional experiences and challenges with more experienced colleagues and facilitators (mentors) and a group of their peers.

We have a new focus for GRADS MentorSHPE Groups this year! We will host monthly events where current graduate students can use the peer mentoring group and faculty guests to practice upcoming presentations and receive feedback. Whether you are presenting at a conference or upcoming defense, this can be a great opportunity to practice in a safe supporting environment with your SHPE familia! Attendees will also gain skills in listening to provide feedback and see examples of other presentation styles to learn from. Current SHPE graduate students can submit a request to practice their presentation here.

When: Monthly events September, October, November, February, March, April – 3rd Thursday 7pm -830pm EST - Register Here
